• UPM

    When the Finnish bio and forest industry company UPM decided to invest in a new paper machine in Changshu, in China’s Jiangsu province, Bamboo was assigned to produce a quarterly newsletter that followed every phase of the project – internally called the Panda Project – by interviewing the project team members.


  • EFTEC

    The Swiss supplier to the automotive industry needed help with streamlining and aligning the handling of sales in China across different business areas. Bamboo conducted a workshop with key sales staff from around China to help pinpoint actual customer needs, develop a value-based sales framework and develop this into new sales presentations with content and design by Bamboo.


  • KraftPowercon

    As part of their international brand building, KraftPowercon needed websites for key markets. Bamboo provided translations and editing, web development and built the Chinese, French, German and Korean websites using the client’s content management system (CMS).


  • AstraZeneca

    The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca wanted to find a new way to internally communicate its reorganisation. Bamboo developed a light-hearted animated video, with key messages in a number of languages and showing all new heads for regions and countries, as well as the organisation’s new functions. This new style of communication was well received by regional offices and the headquarters.


  • China brand awareness study

    For a global company that is a leader in its field, Bamboo conducted a brand awareness study, in which we measured the company’s brand awareness and how customers and prospective customers from different business areas see the brand and their offerings in China. Besides interviewing respondents from all over China in Chinese, Bamboo compiled a detailed report with analysis and recommendations.


  • ATAL Engineering Group

    ATAL is a leading electrical and mechanical engineering company that is headquartered in Hong Kong with a strong presence in Macau and mainland China. Bamboo produces their corporate magazine in English and traditional Chinese.


  • Norwegian Business Community in China

    Bamboo produced a printed Norway-China business magazine, which it later developed into a web-based digital magazine for all platforms, such as tablets, smartphones and computers.


  • Anlev Elevator Group

    Hong Kong-based Anlev designs, supplies and installs lifts, escalators and moving walkways for millions of people in five continents. Bamboo produced a publication to promote Anlev’s global presence.


  • Gränges Shanghai

    Gränges – at that time named Sapa Heat Transfer – wanted to document its 15-year history in China. Bamboo interviewed managers and employees and collected historical photos, to produce a brochure in simplified Chinese and English.


  • Shanghai Disneyland

    Shanghai Disneyland is a theme park located in Pudong, Shanghai, that opened in 2016. Bamboo produced a video with on-site footage, and edited footage from France to welcome the new French general manager to Shanghai.


  • Greencarrier

    Sweden-based logistics provider Greencarrier wanted to celebrate their 15th anniversary with an event in Shanghai for 85 employees from China and the company headquarters. Bamboo developed a memorable experience, which included a bus-sightseeing tour of Shanghai, a river cruise with dinner and entertainment, and also produced all the associated materials such as roll-ups, a photo wall, menus and so on.


  • SKF

    A global business and technology magazine from SKF, the world’s leading manufacturer of rolling bearings, Evolution is published quarterly in 12 languages. The project is managed by the Appelberg Publishing Group in Sweden. Bamboo has produced the simplified Chinese version since its inception in 1998.


  • ABB Robotics

    ABB Robotics and our Swedish agency partner Appelberg needed a customer case video to showcase how Volvo uses robotic solutions for painting cars in its factory in Chengdu, China. Bamboo shot the video onsite and interviewed key staff at Volvo Cars. Apart from the shoot and interviews, Bamboo also handled editing, post-production, music and mixing.


  • AkzoNobel

    Track Record is a 56-page publication that features AkzoNobel signature projects worldwide in a large-photo and short-text format. Besides producing a printed version in Chinese, Bamboo developed a special web-based version for the China market that can be used on any digital device, connecting to and allowing for easy sharing on China social media such as WeChat and Sina Weibo.


  • Sandvik Mining

    Solid Ground is a global magazine about business and technology from Sandvik Mining, which supplies a comprehensive range of equipment, tools, services and solutions for the mining industry. The magazine is produced by Spoon Publishing twice a year. Bamboo handles the Chinese version.


  • Scania

    A customer newsletter from Scania, a world-leading manufacturer of heavy trucks and buses, which is used to strengthen the Scania brand in China. Transport Partner is published six times a year in simplified Chinese. Bamboo has produced it since its inception in 2004.


  • European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong

    EuroCham needed a sub-domain business information website for EU matters and chose Bamboo as a supplier. Bamboo designed the website, providing a custom build based on WordPress to allow the European chamber to update the website themselves, and arranged for hosting. Bamboo also migrated their main website from Joomla to WordPress and provided training in the WordPress CMS.


  • AkzoNobel

    On behalf of AkzoNobel headquarters, Bamboo acts as brand approver for all marketing and communications collateral produced globally, either in-house or by other agencies, involving the AkzoNobel brand. Bamboo also handles the support service functions.


  • Permobil

    A corporate video, shot onsite in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, in which the user spokesperson, Elissa, tells her story about how a Permobil electric wheelchair transformed her life, led her to becoming an employee at the company and how Permobil can benefit other users.


  • Trelleborg

    T-Time is a global magazine for Trelleborg’s customers and stakeholders, published in seven languages. The Chinese edition differs from the others as it contains both global material and locally produced articles. Bamboo produces it together with Trelleborg headquarters and its organisation in China.


  • Gammon

    A biannual customer magazine in English and Traditional Chinese for Gammon, one of the leading construction companies in Asia. Features in-depth information about the company’s latest projects, as well as news from around the region and a full list of Gammon’s contracts.


  • Atlas Copco

    Achieve is the annual magazine of Atlas Copco, an industrial group with world-leading positions in compressors, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems. It is produced in eight languages by Appelberg Publishing Group, and Bamboo produces the Chinese version.


  • AkzoNobel

    Visions of China is AkzoNobel China’s corporate magazine for its customers, employees and public stakeholders. Published in Simplified Chinese and English, the biannual magazine presents an overview of the company’s business performance, sustainability achievements and talent development throughout all business units in China.


  • Swedish Chamber of Commerce

    A member magazine for the Swedish Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong and China, and produced by Bamboo as an English quarterly, Dragon News features stories about China’s economy and highlights the business interests of Swedish companies in China. Bamboo writes the lead articles for each issue and designs the magazine.
