Bamboo has offices in Hong Kong (since 1996), Shanghai (since 2001) and a representative in Vancouver, Canada (since 1997). We have valuable experience working in China, the world's most rapidly expanding economy, although we produce publications wherever our clients are – in their own language.

Since October 2003, Bamboo Business Communications Ltd. has been owned jointly by ScanAsia Consulting Ltd., managed by Staffan Lofgren (see www.scanasia.com ) and Bamboo's Managing Director, Jan Hökerberg. In Asia, Bamboo was previously known as Appelberg.

Bamboo Business Communications Ltd. wholly owns Bamboo Business Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which, in 2002, was the first foreign-owned company within our niche in China to obtain a wholly foreign-owned enterprise (WFOE) licence.
